A child’s path to leadership could be jumpstarted when his emotional and social aspects are developed. This could be done by way of nourishing three distinct parts of the brain – the amygdale, the hippo campus and the cerebrum.

The amygdale is a structure of the brain that involves functions like tagging life events, emotional control, processing negative events and is associated with fear.

The hippocampus is a part of the inner brain that has a role in learning, memory and spatial orientation.

The brain needs nourishment for it fully functions and certain nutrients can have a big impact on a child’s growth and brain development. Beyond learning abilities and memory retention, a child can be nurtured holistically when specific structures of his brain – the amygdale, the hippocampus and the cerebrum – are properly nourished. When these specific brain centres are supplied with the right balance of nutrients, the social and emotional development of a child are then supported which in turn will cultivate his leadership potential.
